Hat's off for David Mack

yeah, i'm reading the destiny series for the third time right now. Damn good books. cant wait until zero sum game.

Thanks, and keep up the splendid work Mr. Mack.

I got one of my friends, who doesn't read Trek novels, but likes the shows, and he's really enjoying the Destiny trilogy. :D

I'd say the 'David Mack is great' threads are warranted.

Yupp, same here. David Mack's a great writer. I enjoyed his 4400 novels as well.

I don't really have one favorite writer, but David Mack is definitely one of my favorites. Pretty much everything I've read/watched of his has been great. It turns out he was already one of favorites before I even knew who he was, because Starship Down and It's Only a Paper Moon are two of my favorite DS9 eps.

:guffaw:

Where do you get your wallet stolen by a man dressed as Spock? :P

Seriously though, if you are a fan of David Mack, you simply must read The Calling. It's a gripping tale with mystical elements and an interesting mythology that the (hopefully) first book barely scratches the surface of.

David Mack is the Hemmingway of media tie-in fiction.

(I know I've said that here somewhere before... and it's a valid statement on so many levels...)
