Case 2: Explode:
A fairly fun episode, though the character interactions are goofier than I expected. We get more exposition, but still a lot of mysteries, and a cliffhanger ending. The highlight is a really big truck/motorcycle chase sequence -- they pulled out all the stops. We haven't seen much motorcycle action in Kamen Rider in recent years due to stricter laws in Japan, so this was impressive to see.
Nem knowing she's in a dream, and appearing in everyone's dreams, merely furthers my conviction that she's not just a celebrity but will turn out to be key to the season's mysteries and story arc.
The livestream wasn't commercial-free like it was for the premiere of episode 1, but they've tweaked it so that the commercial and the episode stream appear in adjacent boxes, and you can skip the ad after 5 seconds and rewind a bit. It would still be better if they could just pause the stream for the ads (if we had to endure the ads at all), and ideally insert them at the proper act breaks in the episode.
