Yes. Deadpool is always funny. No matter what. No matter how off-the-wall, batshit, or insane his stories are they - and he - are always unpredictable and hilarious. He's the only one in The MU who recognizes what stupid bullshit the Marvel Universe has become. And as such his sense of parody and satire rings much more true then it should. And as a semi-satirical character, he doesn't get bogged down in whiny superhero drama. When you pick up a Deadpool comic, he's not going to talk for 10 pages about his lady feelings or go all holier-then-thou "KILLING IS WRONG!!" choir boy on you, unlike Spider-Man. He's all action and comedy, all the time. It's not deep storytelling. But it's always entertaining.
Spider-Man hasn't been entertaining in years. He sold is soul to Satan long before One More Day. He's a whiny emo-pussy who spends more time bitching and mopping about how much is life sucks rather then being funny and entertaining. If it's really that bad Parker, then just quit. Otherwise shut the fuck up. You make Frodo Baggins look like Rambo. Yeah, you're a superhero who's married to a model and you get to hang out with The X-men and The Avengers all day. I wish my life was that bad.
Spider-Man is old and busted. Deadpool is New Hotness.
