Has anyone tried making their own kitbash models?

Considering that a number of the "kitbashes" we on in Star Trek were made with off-the-shelf model kits, I wonder if any fans have tried creating some new designs with such parts.

I imagine that the results would probably be mixed, at best, given that, for every cool design like the Centaur, we got a hideous abomination like the Yeager. Still, it'd be curious to know what people came up with. (And remember, pics! ;))

Forbin is my personal hero. I've done a couple kitbashes, but don't have anywhere near his talent or patience.

You definitely need patience, and practice, but you can get some great results.

I humbly bow to Forbin's kit bash mastery, without a doubt, but I have done a few of my own over the years as well. I think the Asteroth and Richthofen are my favorites. Please forgive the "90's look" of the pages. That's when I built them and I never really had the time to go back and fix them up.

^ Nice work there too. Your Phoenix has the later style of Nebula pod though, rather than that EWACS thing at did in the episode.

I did the regular pod too.

Thank ye kindly! :) Yeah, I toyed around with doing the correct pod on the Phoenix, but it was all scratch built (before there were garage mod kits) and it was easier to make the delta.

Thx again!
