Here's the story: I'm in law school, and my undergraduate training was in political science and philosophy. I work in the medical field now, and I have an interest in the sciences, though my formal scientific training is limited to what I had to take in general ed in college (mostly physics and astronomy), and the scientific background needed for bioethics (my philosophy specialty), and home-health-care (my job).
I'm thinking of going into patent law. I did the research, and in order to sit for the patent bar, I need to take and pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, since I don't have a bachelor's degree in a hard science. I'm a pretty good standardized test taker. I'll be taking the FE exam in October, and I bought a test prep book to study from. Has anyone here taken the exam? Any advice?
Once I pass that exam, I'll start preparing for the patent bar. Does anyone have any advice on that exam?
Thanks!
