Harrison Ford in plane crash

Apparently it's not the first time he has crashed in a plane. Must be a nightmare to insure the guy. Glad he's ok though.

Authorities found the plane with the left blinker still on. Seriously though, glad to hear he's OK and seems no one else got hurt.

Seems he was flying solo. :shifty:

I've seen a few reports where they said that and didn't seem to get the joke/reference that they were making. They were just reading the words on the screen in front of them.
One of the officials during the press conference they held in regard to the crash even said that without the slightest hint of a wink/nudge in his voice.

Glad he is ok. On a lighter note: that does look like something out of an Indiana Jones movie. Even the plane is from right era. :)

Edit: A golf course is probably the best place to crash a plane. Wide open and relatively flat area with a high probability of immediately finding a doctor and/or a lawyer.

The odds of successfully navigating eighteen holes are approximately 3,720 to one.

Maybe he'll change his name to Harrison FORE!

Anyway, I'm glad he's alive and I hope he suffered no serious injuries. He's a true icon.

At least the reporter BBC News showed just now knew enough to intentionally make some references.
Note to self: Don't go on airplanes rides with Harrison Ford
On the contrary - someone who can execute an emergency landing that well is *exactly* who I want flying the plane I'm on. :techman:

CNN couldn't stop themselves from frequently saying that he was "flying solo". Then my wife all of a sudden took it to the next level when she said "flying so-lo that he crashed".

I lost my shit.

All joking aside, though, I'm very glad he is okay.

He's practicing for Indiana Jones 5. Indy will make a quip like

"Sorry just playing through"

Or a snake spooked him
