I usually celebrate St. Pat's Day, but with two dentist appointments tomorrow, I may have to skip it this year. Just as well- after having an Irish wake for my brother the other week, I'm kind of Irished out.

Here is what I cooked for dinner (this is just my plate. There were 4 chops in all, one for everyone):

Pork chops, stuffing, peas, baked beans and corn.
I marinated the pork chops in a butter, herb and garlic sauce, added sea salt to thicken, a touch of lemon juice and grilled for 12 minutes (they're an inch thick). Delicious I says!

I've enjoyed some St Patricks day drinks and as per usual the bar staff were wearing green Guinness shirts and handing out free hats with every pint.

They seemed a little upset that I declined the hat.
