My holidays have really sucked this winter. I was alone on Christmas Day (snowed in) and am alone once again on New Year's Eve. 
I know I'm not supposed to be alone on a day like this, this is one of those damn couples holidays! Everybody's supposed to pair off! Well, the hell with that.

It will be midnight here in three hours. I have a case of Newcastle (four of them are already gone into my big fat trap), party mix, gold fish crackers, olive tapenade, artichoke bruschetta, a round loaf of fresh Italian bread, a bag of mini Three Musketeers and leftover broccoli casserole. I am gorging myself, drinking and watching the fourth season of How I Met Your Mother. Awesome!

Don't feel bad...I've been alone for ALL the holidays for years now...family and friends were inconsiderate enough to die on me...however, thanks to TBBS and LJ, I have tons of other friends I've never met, so, actually, I...AND you too, we are not really alone...
We are surrounded by friends; we just can't physically touch them...lifts her glass of grape juice in a toast for Mr. Laser Beam...cheers...and Happy New Year!

2009 was a pretty good year for me, filled with companionship, and a ton of new knowledge...looks like 2010 will be the same way (here's to hoping!) I hope it's a prosperous year for everyone here at TBBS!
