Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!

This time last week sucked, but today has been great!

:)

Happy New Arthur C Clarke Novel! Its 825am new years day here. Didn't do much last night, little girl kept us awake the night before. Anyway, HNY from middle earth...

I wondered what happened to you last night. You are the first member of Trekbbs to reach the New Year, two hours before us on the east coast of Oz, so I though that you would post.

What was the weather like in Dunedin yesterday? It was very hot in Tasmania (38C)

Am actually in queenstown. Weather has been mixed. We had 32 one day and 13 the next. Today its about 20 but severe gale force winds. Back to Dunners tomorrow.

I'm about to log off for a quiet night in with the girlfriend and some beer, so before I crash out inbetween drunken ramblings...

I hope you all have a decent night and a reasonably tolerable new year ;)

Just to save time and avoid the inevitable telecommunications network overload with everyone wishing everyone else the happiest of new years in three hours' time, I'll send my wishes out just now. :)

Season's Greetings and a happy New Year from Octavius.

Time has no divisions to mark its passage, there is never a thunder-storm or blare of trumpets to announce the beginning of a new month or year. Even when a new century begins it is only we mortals who ring bells and fire off pistols.

Thomas Mann, German writer (1875 - 1955)

Not sure what time the thunderstorm hit Melbourne but it must have been close to midnight.

Excuse me? There's more than one Kiwi on the BBS I'll have you know :p.

It's 11.40 am here, had a very long sleep tonight, woke up to another cloudy day today. If my calculations are correct, in 20 minutes it will be midnight in Western Europe.

Happy New Year, everyone. :)

It's about five and a half hours to go for me. I'm watching Three Stooges.

I had actually gotten used to the idea of spending tonight at home alone, but then I went to the liquor store and found a bottle of vodka shaped like a Tommy Gun. I feel like I need to go to a party now just to show it off.

The big bright moon is shining into my windows, casting sharp shadows everywhere. It's just so beautiful.

It's cloudy and pitch black dark here in the Shenandoah Mountains. Five hours to go :)
