I'm not really picking on her - I'm picking on Janeway. But alright, alright. I'm sorry.
Besides, I've recently realized that at least part of the blame for Janeway's behavior during "Year of Hell" falls on the EMH. With the way she was acting, shouldn't he have treated her for depression?
Yeah I agree there, he should have been much more proactive. Mental health issues don't seem to come in Star Trek unless it's caused by an alien creature lodged in your brain. I guess there is an assumption that in the future mental health is instantly and easily fixable so there's nothing to talk about?

Janeway stroked 7's blonde hair, coiffed as always to perfection. 7's eyes were shut as she leaned back in her regeneration alcove, though she had yet to initiate regeneration. Was she pretending Janeway wondered? Pretending to be so unaware of the ship, Janeway's finger as it moved down her neck, of her humanity? Janeway watched the soft rise and fall of 7's breast as her finger traced it's way over her heart and around 7's nipple, feeling a perkiness under 7's silver uniform. A moment passed over her in which she was also unaware of her ship, her duties, her.. 7's hand flew up and grabbed her wrist, wrenching it away from her breast. Her eyes were open now and she stared into Janeway's breathing rapidly.
"Captain."
Janeway tilted her head a little as she moved her free hand up to plant it firmly over 7's other breast.
"Kathryn, you promised to call me Kathryn."

Did you ever join one of those spin off forums created by people who leave trekbbs because it is full of haters where it is all love love love? They are dead boring. You can't really love without loving in the face of adversity. This is a truth. Just look at the movies.

I had a friend who flew to Australia, back before 9/11. When he got to Australia, they asked if he had anything to declare, and he said no, and then they asked if he had ever been convicted of a crime, and he said,

If you're guessing he got detained by security for 3 hours, you're wrong. It was 4 hours.
