Happy First Contact Day!

Well tonight we are watching First Contact. We have clear lemonade and blue dye for some Romulan Ale. I looked up the pirogi recipe but I can't be effed atm, I will make them another time for the heck of it and keep them in mind for next year. I will buy some cheese things that look like pirogis but aren't though (wrong kind of pastry).
I did try and get some tequila but could only find large bottles and I don't want to shell out 45 dollars for something I'm not keen on, lol. Not big on tequila in this country so not a lot of options.

And me. It'll be two weeks before my 93rd birthday, (it's now 11 days till my 41st), but I plan on being around.
The funny thing is, the day before, April 4, 2063 will be my cousins' 100th birthday. A fact I realized back in 1996 when I saw First Contact for the first time, and again 2 days ago when we had dinner. Sadly, I couldn't mention this to him since he's only a casual Star Trek fan, and doesn't care about that kind of trivia. And, if I had, he (and most everybody else at the table) would have looked at me like I was nuts.
With any luck at all, I'll have a wheelchair that flies by then.

We should all start setting up the party now. At this point we can probably geta good rate in Montana.
On that day, I will be a feisty 87. If I am anything like my mother's people, I will be spry, sharp and still going like a bat out of hell. Someone better bring the tequila... and a defibrillator.
My grandfather at that age was very forgetful, but everything else was OK. He was physically strong, but was senial.I will be twenty-five days shy of my 101st birthday, but if someone wants to break me out of the home, I will make the trip.

My friends thought that was the funniest thing they had ever heard when I said I was going to be there for First Contact. In fact he drew a picture of it....he reckion we'll be disappointed. The people in the pic is me and my brother.
You can count on it!! Although I wont be much of a whippersnapper by then. lol I'll be 78 years old.

Yay!!! But then someone in there 60's will come along and make me feel old. lol
Well then you can yell at them to get off their damn iphones and stop texting while driving, or whatever the hell it'll be then.
That's what I do NOW.
