Happy Birthday Jolene Blalock

Easy there.

No. Not "easy there." You made an allegation.
I did no such thing. I was metaphorically ridiculing her acting skills.

I keep forgetting that people tend to take things literally more often than otherwise. I'm sorry.

Excuse me, but how is saying that she's so bad at acting that she must have been sleeping with the producers any better if you don't mean it? That's just as misogynistic an attack (unless you're going to say the same thing about a bad male actor).

There's a certain cliche involving attractive women who can't act and Hollywood producers. Look into that.

A male version of that cliche is perfectly conceivable too.

Also, there's that common phrase "Who do I gotta fuck to get a ________ in here?" etc.

This is all from me on the subject, and I won't be responding to any more of this shit.

One more thing - your implication of misogyny is heavily resented.

Jolene allegedly REJECTED certain writer/producer's inappropriate advances sometime during season 3. There's more on the subject over at the SF&F board.
I remember that there was some speculation about what you describe above around here some years ago, however, I never read anything, nor do I recall anyone citing any websites or interviews or anything that could be construed as evidence that what you describe above actually happened. I believe the whole thing was nothing but fanon.

Besides that, I don't see how a writer or producer potentially hitting on Jolene translates into her getting the role of T'Pol because she had some type of relationship with one of the bosses which is what your post implied. You even state that she rejected the advances -- which likely never happened -- making your original post on the subject make even less sense.

Yes. And it's a very misgynistic cliche -- no one bloody well accuses bad male actors of having gotten parts solely because they slept with the producers. So why would you want, or even think, to perpetuate such a cliche? How could you possibly think something that disgusting is funny?

Here's a thought.
Jolene could show up in ST2013 with normal ears as T'Pol and Trip's offspring.
Shippers go wild.

Did you even read my last two posts?

It comes from a lot of the crew on the Enterprise set (hard to keep secrets in Hollywood, even before TMZ LOL). I have heard it from about few different people who worked there. Can it be proven? No, mostly likley not, as a lot of closed door issues never are. I trust all my sources, and I have been around. ;) Braga is just very lucky it was worked out fairly quietly or his career could have been over and we would not be picking on him today. :)
It may or may not be true, and judgment of likelihood is really not possible to make, IMO. We can only choose what to believe.

No, I don't think you read my last two posts. :shifty:

Imagine if Spock addressed her as "Lieutenant Tucker". Fanfic writers would have a field day!

March 5th is Jolene's birthday. She is 37 today. Happy Birthday T'Pol. She would be like 72 I would guess.

62 or 63 years old During Broken Bow so thats works, but I thought there was an episode in season 2 were she said she was in her 70's??

T'Pol was born in 2088, making her around 63 during "Broken Bow" and around 67 during "Demons"/"Terra Prime." Had ENT continued production into the current TV season with the standard "one season = one year stretched across two calender years" formula we saw in prior seasons, ENT Season Eleven would be set from 2161-2162 and T'Pol would be turning 73.

There is only one true ship.

So she would have normal ears and a beagle. ;)

Scotty made the beagle disappear.
I've got it!
The beagle reappears and Scotty returns it to her.
She could be Lt Commander Tucker. Admiral Archer's aide. That's Jonathan Archer's son and Lt Cmdr Tucker's husband.
