Happy 45th Birthday, Star Trek!

Always a pleasure to see your site (and to occasionally contribute script excerpts). The photo of Laurel Goodwin as Colt, in form-fitting slacks, black tunic and the very 60s boots. Was that an early uniform design? Or were the pants and boots her attire, and just the tunic a costume?

A historical collection, I might say. Thank you, Capt.Mac! And Happy Trek Anniversary to everyone!

The ensemble was an early costume design. They looked at 3-4 different concepts for each of the tunics, pants, and boots and tested every one of them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STAR TREK !!!! 45 YEARS AND STILL BOLDLY GOING !!!!

So my night will consist of watching the Man Trap !!!! Ace !!!

Hmm. I wonder if I can convince my gf to watch some with me tonight.

This calls for a celebration. Cake and ice cream and Star Trek. I wonder if she'll understand if, should she decline to watch, I just have a little party on my own? :D

Happy 45th for the live show and 38th for the animated. I'm watching "The Man Trap" right now with "Beyond the Farthest Star" to follow.

Even with it's ups and downs, and even though I've liked other shows besides, Star Trek is the best and most imaginative thing I've ever seen on television. And it remains my favourite television show ever.

:techman:
