^ Actually I think that it looks perfectly diabolical to me.

As you can see I have used the Kosst Dukat look for my avatar. I know that it is similar to ND's avatar, but I think ol' red eyes comes closest to representing Loki Dukat.
(being a cross between a treacherous evil Norse god and a treacherous self serving Cardassian)

Indeed, it makes sense, Loki being Thor's nemesis and all.

Funny enough, though, I tend to associate Loki with Q.

(And of course I used the Kosst Dukat look as well--I really liked this particular screenshot of him using telekinesis, and altered it a bit to make it show up better.)

Well, I did briefly consider either Loki Garak or Loki Entek but I'm not an Obsidian order man.

Of course I could have gone the Stargate route and gone with an Egyptian 'evil' god name, say Anubis Dukat.

Still my choice fits into the mythology which as a distant descendant of Vikings I find most pleasing.

BTW I was considering this as an alternative avatar:

I remember the ElimParra avatar from way back. It was hilarious, one of my favourites on the BBS.

If the iguana is at least a year old, you can usually tell the sex of the iguana. If you look at the femoral pores on the thighs of the iguana, the pores will look larger and will look white on a male. They use the pores to mark their territory during breeding season. A female will have much smaller pores. Males have larger dewlaps and jowls (cheeks and beards). Males have bumps on their back legs called femoral pores which are much harder to see in females. If its a baby though, you may not be able to see these differences. If you really need to know the best option is to take the iguana to a vet who will be able to tell you for sure. I can tell pretty positively once they are about 2 years old but much younger than that and its not for sure. Also the spiny crest on the iguanas back is moderately larger for a male.

I've been wondering about your nick... I wanted to have "trekkiemonster" (no capitalizations!) for this annual event -but thought better of it to avoid confusion.

If you are going to come up with something different for next year, would you let me use that variation of your nick?

I mean: I need to have either "trekkie" or "dane" (or something very similar) in my holiday nick.

LOL! It's a character from a Broadway musical (of all things) called "Avenue Q", which is sort of a "what if Sesame Street happened in real world New York City" kinda premise. Funny as hell ... and just wrong in so many ways (I've never blushed in a theater like I did when they showed 2 muppets having sex.) It features such "not right" songs as, "Everyone's a little bit racist", "If you were gay", "You can be as loud as the hell you want (when you're makin' love)", I'm not wearing underwear today", and my personal favorite -- sung by my namesake, "The Internet is for Porn".

If you have that chance to see it, I highly recommend it. It's just a huge hoot. When I was given the tickets and taken to NYC for my birthday to see it a few years ago, I had no idea what I was in for ... or that there was a character called TrekkieMonster. It's traveling, so ....
