In the last 3 or 4 videos, the e-mail address was changed to big-C (at) callsforcthulhu.com (which is a real site, BTW), so it's reasonable to assume the e-mail is (or was) legit. Alas, the creator hasn't released any new segments since 2011. They proved more involved than one might assume and they took away time from income making endeavors. He does still respond to posts made at YouTube, one reply being only 4 months ago (relative to this post).
No, seems like it could be pretty cool. I'll have to keep it in mind if I like the stories and want to keep going with the Lovecraft stuff.
I started Dark Corners of the Earth but found some of the controls and the save mechanism (on the xbox) a nuisance, so I downloaded some playthrough videos instead. Haven't watched all of it but storywise it seems to have been a good effort.
"You're on the air with Cthulhu. And remember...l will swallow your soul!" Inspired by the video Gov Kodos linked, I thought I'd interpret it in 3D. The primary figure is the "Gigli Cthulhu" by Sixus1.
The best game from Chaosium was Tatterdemalion "by Richard Watts and Penelope Love (additional text by Kevin A. ...and the "serious version, well, as serious as Cthulhu hosting a "call in" show can be. The figure is by Sixus1. Modeling and rigging Lovecraft creatures is their specialty.
