So, New live action gundam movie is apparently on the horizon! This could be good news, but giving Hollyweird's recent "Attempts" at anime adaptations.. My hopes are mild at best that it will be good.

So, What could they film? A grandpa gundam trilogy? new AU ? UC based??

I doubt that will ever happen. After ten years and two different studios who have both given it little to no priority, Robotech has pretty much taken up permanent residence in Development Hell. There are better chances of this Gundam movie being made, IMO.
