Guest stars you would like to see in the Picard series

With the Picard series in the prime timeline, it would be great to have some guest stars from the previous Trek shows. They may not want to put a strain on the budget and get too many but I would love to see different characters pop in and out regularly. Who would you like to see?

Whoopi Goldberg. Jonathan Frakes. Data's severed head from under San Francisco. Wil Wheaton.

Colm Meaney. O'Brien left DS9 to be a Professor at Starfleet Academy, so if Picards new adventure starts on Earth, he could turn to him for help.

And please: NO DATA! NO Brent Spiner, NO VFX Data, NO recast. Just let him rest, please!

Other than cameos (of a very few), no TNG regulars—at the very least not in the first season.

Beyond that, I’d rather the main cast be somewhat small (I am NOT a fan of “ensemble” shows where everyone needs to appear on screen every episode) and let “guest stars” be new characters important to the story (mix of one-offs and recurring).

I think it's a foregone conclusion we'll see the characters who were closest to Picard, namely Riker and Bev Crusher (unless it's revealed that one or both have perished, perhaps adding to Picard's angst). Jonathan Frakes is slated to direct a few episodes, so it's not like he won't be on set...

Personally, I really, really want to see Q return, guiding Picard through his new journey.

Keep it limited for the first season, but Whoopi Goldberg makes a lot of sense. Especially since she seemed to be missing from the Ent-E.

Very few, is my preference. But, I wouldn't mind Wheaton, Goldberg, maybe Frakes and Sirtis. I also would like to see a Mulgrew, and Dorn and Robinson, and maybe even Hertzler.

The show would need to have a damn good reason to NOT have Beverly Crusher.

I'd like to see what the series will be about first. Then I can better decide who fits the storyline best.

Also Harry Kim as Starfleet C-in-C.

I will also chime in with another John de Lancie/Q vote. Maybe an episode where the "trial" resumes if it can fit the story.

Other than that, Frakes, Dorn, Burton, Meaney.

Any tie ins to DS9 only characters would be welcome in my book. Garrick as a cardassian leader perhaps?

I also agree with Enterprise it's hard to say what would be useful in terms of guest stars with so little known about the show right now.
