Grimm - Season 4

^^^ When she initially became a hexenbiest, before it corrupted her, she started being an extremely useful member of the team. She was really coming to her own and her confidence was building. There was a short stretch at the beginning of the season where I personally felt her character had really gotten good and things were clicking. Then the stuff with Adelind started happening and Juliette went downhill fast. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the general quality of the character - Juliette was always my least favorite character of all of them but I do think that she did have a handful of good eps and that was about it.

But you're right, before amnesia she was completely worthless IMO.

I don't tink she was completely worthless, it's just that teh amnesia storyline was her first real storyline. And I think she kind of liked becoming an evil hexenbiest, but then I think many actors like playing evil parts.

From the Grimm panel...

Juliette is dead and staying that way.

They're cooling it on the Royal storylines. :techman:

Finally, the whole key thing is going to be addressed. :borg:

They released a video from SDCC recapping the entire series from Nick learning he is a Grimm through to Juliette's death.

Watching this video just reminds me how much Grimm annoys me. There are elements of a great show in there, but they keep ruining it with stuff like Juliette's memory loss and Juliette turning into a Hexebiest. Gee, I just noticed a trend.........
It's probably one of the only shows that I kind of wish would be handed off to a new showrunner/s, someone who can keep the good stuff going, but not do things like the two Juliette stories.

The problem isn't Juliette, the problem is that Nick is a totally incompetent hero. He's completely lazy. He's never bothered to study the Grimm books until he's forced to by a series of murders. He's never taken an active interest in investigating the important mysteries like the keys or the whole zombie-powers thing. Not to mention that Giuntoli has the emotional range of a parking meter. And there's what a total jerk he was to Wu, letting him think he was crazy rather than letting him in on the truth.

Of course, it's the writers who are really to blame. A new showrunner would be welcome. As it is, I seriously doubt I'll watch the show when it returns. I still like Monrosalee and Wu, but they're not enough by themselves to make the rest worth sitting through. Especially if Adalind is going to be more central now. And I actually did like Bitsie Tulloch, even though they so often mishandled her character.

Let's never speak of the second half of Grimm season 4 ever again.

In my mind it never existed, and neither did Sleepy Hollow season 2, Dexter seasons 5-8, and The Simpsons after season 8. :p
