Grey's Anatomy: What the Heck is Going On Here?

Honestly, the whole show needs to be shaken up. Drop the people-sleeping-around stuff, because it's been overdone and makes them look completely unprofessional.

Derek and Meredith I'm good with. The rest of them can go.

Well, okay. Bailey can stay. And Yang - she can stay. And Karev. He can stay too. And I guess Sloan can stay for Derek.

But the rest of them can go.
Sounds like a plan to me. :)

*teehee* I was kinda curious what you thought of Heigl, given her connection to Roswell. I love her on Roswell, and so I was predisposed to loving her on Grey's (she's actually the reason I started watching this show to begin with!) but on Grey's her character has gone straight downhill since Denny died (and yes - he IS dead :p ) and for me, reached pretty much a zenith of hatred during that "I love George even though he's married and I can't LIVE without him" drama of last season.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Now, Heigl could leave this show and I wouldn't miss her at all.

And I never liked George, so TR Knight can go jump in the lake for all I care. Not advocating what Isaiah Washington did or said or whatever off-screen was cool...but from a pure character perspective, Burke was a MUCH better character than was wussieboi George. And while Yang is still interesting enough, Burke made her character better too.

Oddly, the only interaction of George's I EVER enjoyed was his interaction with Burke. I remember thinking to myself that Burke was likely this guy's ONLY chance of growing the hell up and starting to act like a man instead of like The Biggest Weenie Who Ever Lived.

Heigl can leave since she has a movie career. What is Knight going to do?

As I said - don't know. Don't care. If I never saw this guy on another TV show ever it would be fine with me.

I just wanted to pop in and apologize. I did the Grey's Discussion thread for the last two years here but I flaked out this fall. Well I didn't just flake out, I have stopped watching completely. I just couldn't get into it anymore. And from the looks of things, that decision looks to be a good one.

And to throw my two cents in, Shonda should have kept Addison at Seattle Grace and given Bailey her own show! She was always... and I mean always... my favorite, hands down. Give this woman an Emmy already! Chandra is an amazing actress who can take the most mundane scene and make it interesting. She can also take a simple throw-away scene (like the one where she consoles George on the bench after he failed his exams) and turn it into an emotional juggernaut that has me crying for an hour.

(But don't count me out just yet. If they axe the folks that I think they are and do a little restructuring, I might be back in front of the tv... and here with another season of discussion threads.)

I have to say we are in total agreement. I still really like Heigl, but I really don't care if she leaves the show. And yeah, Burke was a great character and I miss him on the show, especially his interactions with Christina, Derek, and even George. Like you said, George's only good bits on the show were when interacting with Burke.

Well toward the end people stopped posting in the Grey's and Practice threads, so you were allowed to kill your own threads, especially since you put in the time and effort to make banners.

I had TV threads for shows where the response was minimal to nonexistent (The Unit probably being the most popular show, since some my other threads were for now-canceled shows), so I stopped making them.
