Interesting. I'm guessing the leopard-like pattern is a product of a specular map? I had to go back and look at your second test video, it was there before, but not near as strong. Certainly not a common approach, compared to the usual rectangular panels. I do like that you dropped the two pods, they didn't seem to be helping the design any.

Introducing the Behaim class explorer, named for Martin von Behaim, a German mariner, artist, cosmographer, astronomer, philosopher, geographer and explorer in service to the King of Portugal.

Fine work wrapping up the Telgar. I particularly like your color choices.

The Behaim is looking nice, too. I particularly enjoy the exhaust nozzles. They're big and clunkly as one might expect. Plus, the saucer looks like a logical outgrowth of the main section. It's shaping up to be a very plausible evolutionary mid-step design.

More Behaim.
Moved the pylons and nacelles down to make room for shuttlebay location. Got rid of the dumb deflector box and went with something more traditional. Brought the quad impulse engines in closer to streamline the vessel. A few window placements (and yes the saucer rim is one large deck).
