Green Lantern (2011)

No, that's rather startling.

Someone over at Superherohype posted full shots of Kilowog and, I think Tomar-Re and there's a similar principle involved - the outfits hug their presumed muscular anatomy very closely.

Although I doubt Reynolds has looked that good after his best day in the gym.

I wasn't sure about it at first, but after the last trailer, and these photos I'm starting to like this "costume". It's certainly more unique and original than alot of this kind of stuff.

I'd probably have been more comfortable with something like the Spider-Man movie outfits - a close-fitting costume that looks a lot like a comic book outfit - but this certainly is unique and works well in what I've seen.

Didn't say he never looks good - just not as big or as ripped as that CG physique, and the linked image pretty much proves that. He'd have to be juicing to get anywhere near those digital deltoids.

I just can't get used to the costume.. it's too exaggerated for my taste and looks.. wrong.. somehow (i can't explain why).

Maybe it will work better in the movie but this still looks more like a test for a new CGI artist whose imagination got a little out of control.

After seeing the more finalized trailor ...IT may be the very first movie I have seen in the theaters in well over 15-20 years...looks just like Hal's origin should be.
Oh wait that is until "if" the film doesn't do too hot,...another reboot.....

There's supposed to be a "sneak peak" at the movie during Fringe this week.
Do we know if it's something new, or is it gonna just be one of the trailers? I've heard them say stuff like that before, only for it to turn out to be a trailer I've already seen both online and in theaters.

There's no reason to assume that it will be new material, IMAO - the marketing department correctly assumes that the stuff they're circulating online now will be new to the largest percentage of prime time TV viewers. And in fact I'd expect the trailer that's supposedly being released with Thor to lean heavily on the Wondercon footage as well.
