I've held onto it ever since I learned we were switching forum software, just in case it wasn't restored. It's so pretty, and full of so much potential.![]()
Modern bulletin boards, like their local dial-up predecessors before them, are dying. Granted, the format will still be around for some time, but with mobile computing becoming the norm, the demand for a discussion based, large format software system is fading. Facebook has dominated that corner of the internet (which sucks, because Facebook is horrible for any kind of involved discussion).
The golden age of BBSes have passed. Gods knows what's next up.
