GraphJam and narrative time on Sci-Fi television

as fun as this particular collection is, it does bring up an interesting question about how various series construct their timelines.

Cute.

I was going to complain that there was too much "alternate timeline" in the Doctor Who graph, since they haven't really used that idea much except in "Inferno" and the Cybus universe where Rose got trapped, plus maybe a Sarah Jane storyline or two. But the latest season has made it official that time can be rewritten and frequently is, and given all the continuity inconsistencies over the course of the series and its various tie-ins, it seems likely now that much or most of the Whovian canon occupies a variety of successive alternate realities. So if anything, maybe there's too little purple on the graph. ;)
