^ I know about that feature. And going fast isn't the problem, it's just the driving in general (taking turns, avoiding other cars) while being fast enough to keep up. My biggest problem is that I often fall off the bike.

So what's the secret to rescuing Roman from the two-story building and 40 billion gunmen? I'm fully armed, I have body armor, but I keep getting gunned down.

If it's the mission I'm thinking of
(the one where Roman's been kidnapped and Niko runs around killing everyone and shouting out 'YOU WILL NOT HURT MY COUSIN",
then it's a matter of hiding and shooting.

However, the health pack right at the bottom of the building respawns, which might help matters.

Just take your time, i stayed outside the entrance of the building were you start the mission and slowly moved and took each one down....the key being aim and move....and there is a HP in the building...

I had a real hard time with Snow Storm my first couple of tries, because I kept trying to kill all the cops, and because it was dark, so I kept getting lost in the building. Finally I gave up and came back to it later, when it was daytime, and then I just sprinted out of the building and shook my wanted level.

I hate the motorcycle chases. It wouldn't be so bad if they let us drive on Zombies or Hellfurys (or whatever they're called), but it's also on one of those hard-to-control superbikes. :scream:

There's an easier way to beat Snow Storm. Circle around the back of the hospital and you'll find a ladder. Take the ladder up and inside the hospital and it'll drop you off close to the room where the coke is. Bare minimum of bad guys you need to kill is about three. Now, when the cops show up, simply reverse your steps; you won't have to fight your way through all the biker gang and they'll in turn engage in a fire fight with the police, tying them up for the most part. Nearby, the bad guys just happened to leave a boat; take that and you're home free.

I just found a quick way of doing one of the francis missions, I think it is holland nights, you are meant to go into a building and kill one bad guy, but first you have to shoot your way through dozens of his minions.

Tried this four times either getting killed before I got to him, or killed on the way out again.

Then I noticed a very large crane behind a building across the road.

Well I'll say no more, but that should be a big enough clue.

^I think that's the next mission for me, though I will probably do some jobs for Packie McCreary first.

I did the fun mission in the lawyer's office yesterday and killed Playboy X. Killing Dwayne might have been easier, but you get Playboy's apartment and Dwayne as a friend.

Finished the game last night (with what I suppose is the "bad" ending, or at least the slightly less moral one). The last mission was actually something of an anticlimax - highly frustrating gameplay and a bit too much scripting.

Don't have much desire to go back to it now either.

There is no "good" ending.

If you do a deal, Kate refuses to talk to you againa and Roman dies at his wedding, if you choose revenge Kate dies. In gameplay terms, letting Kate die is best as you get to keep Roman's free taxi service.

Yeah - I knew the possibilities - we took the more morally questionable approach (money > honour! :D) in the previous mission that sets up who you fight at the end though.

What I found odd about that mission is that one of the co-op missions take place at the exact same location... but oh well.

I must be the only person to have bought this game who has absolutely no interest in the multiplayer side whatsoever.

*raises hand*

Videogames are mostly a solitary experience for me. I want a good, long single player mode with a narrative I can really get into.

Having said that, I dabbled a wee bit in the multiplayer and it is pretty good. Me and a bunch of mates had a blast the other night on free mode - don't think I'd bother playing with folk I didn't know.

There is actually at least 2 health packs and an armor pickup in there. Getting a sniper a rifle REALLY helps a lot. I had a lot of trouble with this mission too, but a combination of well place sniper shots and grenade tosses and I finally got to the top. I used the sniper rifle to take the last shot of the mission.
