no thread on this episode yet?

obviously there may be spoilers :D

I like this episode. I enjoyed seeing another Runner, one of the Sunshine Boys no less :D
I'm guessing Vireem had a little too much of the 'oh yeah oh yeah' with the wraith
that's a BSG reference for ya, Mike Dopud played Crewman Specialist Gage in Season 2 episode Pegasus

anyway, I thought it was an average episode. 'Hostages on foot through the woods' is a scifi show cliche :D
I liked the last scene with Ronon and Rodney . . . just the right amount of awkwardness :D

Meh, another lets find the missing team member and yet again hike through the over-used Vancouver woods! Will we ever see an episode that take place on a beach or somthing else different, besides sets or the same old woods. Ronin and Mckay both liking Jennifer, nothing new there, and again another episode with out Wolsey? What, does he have the Amanda Tapping Atlantis curse?? Whats next an episode with Wolsey stacking crates and trying to climb out of a room... Computer de-activate EMH! This episode gets an Average.

I actually liked this one (which means everybody else here will hate it. I always seem to be on the opposite side of the coin here).

Rodney is getting pretty macho, there. Unfortunately, Ronen is still Neanderthal... be interesting to see who Jennifer picks... I'm betting on Rodney because at least he looks like he bathes and changes his clothes.

It was interesting to see another runner (and sad that the wraith have devised a tracking device that actually fuses to the central nervous system). And I thought Keller was going to pass out when he took off his shirt. Rodney better start working out ...

I do hope we'll see Kiryk again (you know that name looks suspiciously like Kirk/Kirok? . A nod to Trek? ;)).

Nah. I liked this one too. Interesting that they could solve the runners tracking problem with a burst from the defibrillator rather than surgery. Interesting that the Wraith made the device impossible to remove, and yet it was subject to an electrical overload.

Nice that the Doc has a couple of suitors. I wonder if she likes either, that way? You guys are like brothers.

It's Jewel Staite, there's a friggin line at the door :techman:

I enjoyed the episode more then I thought I would although I was bummed there wasn't more interaction between Kiryk and Ronan at the end. I would have enjoyed seeing them talk about traps and what not as a kind of 'professional pride' type thing.

They left it open for him to appear again, but with the show ending I doubt it will happen. Next weeks episode looks yay!

Better than I expected. And Kiryk was an interesting character, wasn't expecting him to run through the gate.

A pity that 20% of the big fight scene was obscured by a certain advert for a certain sci-fi show.

Already 9 episodes in...and what has happened.

Yeah, the woods and hostage thing is just worthless.

Lethal booby traps the guy set...might've killed some innocent villagers.

My impression is that they were quite a distance and off the beaten path from where the villagers were.

I just wish they would make it so he could use a gun if he can't handle a gun by now he should not be going off world.

Not watched it yet and not looking forward too it TBH, sounds like total shit. The whole love triangle needs dropping and Ronan can piss off far as I am concerned (She's McKay wife in another time FFS and Sheppard knows it so he should tell Ronan to back off).

At the moment with this Love triangle and the whole cast fo Universe bar the main male dude, the writers are trying to turn the SG franchise into 90120.

:scream:

^ Welcome to the dark side. ;)

The writer's cant write a grown up relationship to save their lives, but I don't mind the love triangle stuff to be honest. Keller on the other hand needs to get lost, the worst regular character of both SG shows.

Well, at least they took the time to awkwardly set it up last year so it isn't completely out of the blue.

The love triangle needs to be dropped. I did not like the sound of it when i read about it and after seeing it on tv i still think its a really bad idea.
I want SGA to go out on a high but this season has to many ups and downs.

I think you anti-triangle people can relax. In the The Shrine, it looked to me that Keller made it pretty clear she into McKay.

Below Average, I usually will watch Stargate Atlantis. Take a brake from what I am doing and watch it. I played on my Playstation (dusting it off first since I rearley am ever on it) and kind of watched the episode. I thought it wa srather boring it was the whole Keller getting abducted thing thats been used before on other shows. Mckay and Ronin love the same girl but tthey respect one another enough to fight for her with honor.

I was so hoping they would have dropped the whole Ronan/Keller thing from last season. It seems so unlikely that Ronan would be into a shy, timid girl like Keller. Then again, opposites attract.
