Berg and Harberts sound like it'd be the name of a small New England confectionery.
Were GR still with us, he'd be wishing JJ continued success. He might admit that he's not a great fan of it, if he felt that way, but I suspect that he'd have no bad feelings about how STAR TREK has evolved, in the past decade. Embracing change was one of GR's favourite mantras, after all ...

Pretty much this. It's one of the (albeit many) reasons I think Trek 09 is better than it is given credit for. It truly has some elements that reflect the adventurous spirit of TOS while doing its own thing. Were GR still with us, he'd be wishing JJ continued success. There are only 2 Star Trek universes, just like Star Wars.
As GR's favorite mantra?Don't you mean 'It's time to relieve you of your youth.'?
Data is a notorious liar. Everyone knows that! There are 237 thousand and some change, per Data in "Parallels".

I say that if the people at CBS and, Paramount change the timeline/universe of Star Trek, they should get their own universe/franchise to play around in and mess up and rename it so as it's not to be confused with TOS and the original prime timeline/universe. I mean it's only fair. It's craziness for them both to exist unless some alien is making it possible for Kirk and company to exist outside of time for some unknown purpose (other than to make money. lol). History is gonna have to decide which continuity is better as per survival of the fittest. Which one is more relevant and justifiable?
I disagree completely with everything in your post.
As noted elsewhere, this is not unique in movies or tv or books or comics. I'm old enough to have lived through at least eight different live-action versions of SUPERMAN, at least five different PLANET OF THE APES timelines, multiple versions of THE MUMMY and ZORRO and TARZAN, etc. So why fret over various different versions of STAR TREK?
It's not craziness and doesn't require elaborate theories involving alien intervention. It's just how popular fiction works. Heck, how many different versions of PETER PAN or NANCY DREW are there?
TNG also seems like “TMP the series” since a lot of things for TNG were directly lifted from TMP/Phase2 and only had the names changed.GR's versions were far more intellectual, being told to make it more action-based. TNG comes closest as "The Cage" feels like proto-TNG rather than proto-TOS.

I sometimes wonder what Trek would be like if Meyer actually had a budget for TWOK and didn’t have to use hand-me-down sets/models/effects from TMP, I bet it would seem a lot more rebootier than it already does, and maybe we’d all have been prepped for a less continuous whole 35 years ago.
If you don't "dig anything Star Trek at all anymore," why are you here?

And Wonder Woman. Three times in the 1970s (Crosby, Carter/ABC, and Carter/CBS). Once in the 1960s (the best-forgotten Dozier pitch to the execs.) Carter/ABC nailed it the best and Carter/CBS started strong but then dived into the middle of Cliché-opolis with aliens from outer space, big robots, and plots getting dumber and dumber each week - because kids love robots and aliens from outer space, go figure. Then came the notorious third season because, as we all know, the plots can be superficial but if the music is trendy and disco that'll fix everything. The Gault's Brain episode has to be seen to be disbelieved, especially as the villains scarper and are never seen again in any new dastardly plot.
