Ok, sorry for the pun...

17+ inches on Saturday in my area. I'm STILL waiting to get plowed out of my place. They've been working on it all day, and they only have half the lot done (not my half, as it would seem).

Here's some time-lapsy goodness...

Did anyone else get inundated with the white stuff this weekend?

Man, that is some serious snow.

Makes me glad to live in California where we only have to worry about the occasional earthquake, brush fire or mudslide.

Yea, that was pretty crazy!

Well, the Vikes only have one more season, there. That won't happen to them in Los Angeles.

Actually, that might have been some very good publicity for the stadium movement. As they said on FOX after showing the tape, "Think they need a new stadium?"

That's some pretty fierce snowfall. Rather you than me I think, though for a day or two, the novelty value would be cool. :D

We're in the middle of a thaw between pretty cold weather (for the UK, that is), but my part of England actually managed to avoid any major snowfall. 50+ miles down the road, different story, but we got lucky. It's supposed to drop well below zero again by the end of the week but for now is hovering a few degrees above.

At least you're not facing a 2nd! snow emergency over here in Minneapolis... I'm near Uptown, and the streets are horrible! I'll be glad if the avenue in front of my place will be wide enough for both parking and a single lane for traffic.

I have to say, my neighbors are the best. Together, we chiseled out quite a few people stranded in the intersections on Saturday and Sunday and got most cars out of the wall of snow before the plows came through. Good people willing to help out! I love the camaraderie. Well, I better turn on the game; it'll be strange seeing Ford Field with Viking colors on the field!
