Spoilers Gotham - Season 3

And here I was hoping Bruce was playing the long con... Seems like they really brainwashed him.

TBH what I'm most hyped for is Alexander Siddig as Ra's Al Ghul

(Some would say these Holosuit programs from Julian and Miles are getting weirder and weirder... )

Featurette with Alexander Siddig.

Why am I still watching this show? Just can't help myself... :p

I've been letting Gotham pile up on my DVR because of how bad the writing's (always) been. I finally got around to watching the second to last episode before the winter hiatus, and I don't know if I can continue.

I have found that letting episodes pile up on my DVR has been a good way of filtering out some shows I've been watching out of habit. I was trying to catch up on a backlog of Lucifer and found myself realizing I didn't really care a whole lot about what I was watching and ended up deleting three or four. I skipped out on Supernatural at some point this season needing some storage space.

I might recommend you just skip to the finale and give it a shot. It looks like it might be fun and I don't really think you probably missed too much along the way really. Last week's episode has the setup if you wanted to catch that but I don't think you need the rest.

Well that was pretty crazy.

The Riddler is on ice and the Penguin is in charge for now at least. We see the end of Fish, Barbara and Butch leaving The Penguin and Tabitha in charge. Butch is revealed to be Cyrus Gold otherwise known as Solomon Grundy (yeah, I needed to look it up...) so we may be seeing him again. Ra's Al Ghul is in play and we get a glimpse at the end of the proto-Batman!

The theme of this one is finding one's true self and it worked pretty well, I think. I like the pieces that are in play going into the next season and I'm curious if they can carry the momentum.

There's been some nice fashions on display lately, I really liked Selina's jacket this time around, she looked sharp and now has the whip to boot!

Man, has Alfred ever been put upon. Glad he finally got some reciprocation from Bruce even if Selina got the short end of the stick.

Loved seeing Mr. Freeze take out that ninja in mid-air and landing with a nasty shatter. Throw in Tetch and Strange and this one had more villains than an Arkham game!

The people involved with Gotham could be lying, but they told TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich that, contrary to rumors, Harley Quinn isn't actually showing up on Gotham any time soon, and that what happened to Barbara tonight IS NOT a precursor to the introduction of said character.

I really need to get caught up on this series ahead of Season 4, since there won't be any conflicts between it and Supergirl any more and I should be able to watch it LIVE again, which makes me happy.

Rumors? Didn't David Mazouz outright say it as fact to reporters? I assumed Harleen was the little girl at the end of the episode.

^ As I noted, Gotham's producers spoke directly to TVLine's Matt Web Mitovich and told him, point-blank, that there are no current plans to bring Harley Quinn into the series ... therereby squashing and overriding anything that anyone else involved with the series, including Masouz, may have said.

I felt Ra's was a but rushed. Bruce finds a League of Assassins entrance and two minutes later Ra's wants Bruce to kill Alfred.

Ra's should have been introduced like 6 episodes ago to build up to this moment

Alot of partnership/one-one conflicts in this episode. Almost everyone had a partner to square off with.

Fish and Penguin
The Penguin and Ridde
Jim and Lee
Gordon and Harvey
Barbara and Tabitha
Bruce and Selina
Bruce and Alfred

Overall I enjoyed the season ender although it felt like a series ender. The way it ended will allow for a forward jump in time of any length. I guess we will depend on how old Bruce looks when they start filming for next season.
Poor Butch, he was one of my favorite characters on the show.
Nice to see Penguin finally use his brain and the Iceberg Lounge is something I look forward to seeing.
Did I miss Harley? Or was she the girl Bruce saved at the end.
Selina has her whip and is an expert in one shot. I like that she may have a mentor to teach her things going into next year.
Definitely want more Ra's. A terrific actor with a great role.
Barbara dead? Lets hope not.
Fish dead? Lets hope so for real this time.

^ No, you didn't miss Harley, because she wasn't actually ever going to be imtroduced, rumors/actor comments notwithstanding.

I wonder how many people groaned when Fish Mooney reappeared out of nowhere last week. I wonder how many of them cheered when she died...again.

Okay, that may have the single best closing shot of any final scene in any season finale, evah! I got all choked up.

If I had to choose between Babs and Tabby, I'm glad they killed Babs. I'm just shallow enough to base this decision on finding tabby WAAAAY more attractive.
Speaking of which, Morena - OMG. Hotter than any sun in the 'verse. :adore:

Not entirely sure I buy Gordon beating all those Ninjas, rage Virus or not. I doubt angry and strong trumps 10 skilled swordsmen.

Now that they have a cure, will they cure the captain? And how pissed will he be that they shot his hand off?

*Raises hand* :)
