Spoilers Gotham - Season 2

I don't know how it works but I know they do look at time-shifted numbers. They're not completely ignored by advertisers the way they used to be.

Sooner or later, the Nielsens are going to make their families wear tracking collars so that they can see which advertising you are ignoring, while making a cup of coffee. Because what damn good is it that the TV is on in the living room, if you're in the bloody kitchen?

There soon won't be any need for Nielsen at all. On-demand will obliterate broadcast TV in 15 years tops.

I actually got selected to be a Nielson Family this summer. I filled out a diary of everything I watched for one week, but it was the summer so it was hardly anything. At the end of the book it asked for any other shows you watch you didn't see in this week... and I listed the 30 or 50 shows I watch

5 unique shows a day.

2 x 30 minutes + 3 x 60 minutes = 4 hours a day watching tv.

That's healthy, right?

7 days x 4 hours = 28 hours or 35 shows per week

35 shows a week is healthy.

I personally, do not watch 35 shows a week.

On Paul Reubens' official website(actually the Pee Wee Herman one, same difference) in the report on his Gotham appearance, there is a photo of him and Carol Kane on the red carpet for Batman Returns premiere. Which is interesting because she was not in that film at all. It appears they were dating each other at the time. Ironic that they are now playing the Penguin's parents on the same show.

I figured 35 would be your daily number. Then again I imagine your living room looks like this:

You have crossed the Penguin never a good plan. Loved Barnes entrance, but how long until we learn his dark secret? Or will he snap and end up in Arkham.

Loved the last shot very well framed. Enjoyed this episode especially the Untouchables knock off stuff. Alfred slapping Selena was shocking but in keeping with the character. Poor Bruce another broken heart and another lesson ahead.

Enigma and Chrissy in that last scene showed more chemistry than Gordon has had with anybody so far on the show.

In that scene with the cadet in the boxing ring, after she knocked her opponent to the mat, I fully expected her to shout, "Freeze, dirt bag!"

This is kind of an ironic statement when you consider that him and Morena Baccarin a couple in real life. In fact she's pregnant with his kid. I can't help but wonder if they'll be writing that into the show or not.

I missed the slap, but it got a gasp out of my mom.
I'm wondering if Galavan purposefully set up Bruce and Silver. It seems a little suspicious that his niece, who just happens to be his age and go to his school showed up at their lunch.
I'm starting to really like Galavan as a villain. His manipulations of everyone are kind of fun.
So I'm assuming from his reaction that the Galavans killed Penguin's mother.
