Gorn and M-113 Salt Creature in Trek09

Watching that tool "punch-in" the eyebrow hairs made me cringe and wince, then I realized it was un-installed prosthetic and I still winced.

As for the Gorn? Yeah, it looked lame, but as I understand it it is not "a Gorn", so, phew.

This had better not be the Gorn design, cause if it is, I hope JJ knows he is screwing with the wrong reptile obsessed, Gorn-loving crowd here.

Both look pretty cool. The Gorn-like creature is obviously intended to get away from the human-sized tyrannosaurus look.

Why use the show for inspiration when you can just....use what it used?

Why would anyone, other than in a fan production?

Even Enterprise improved upon the Tholians. :techman:

The Castellan does not like humanised-looking reptiles. The Castellan wants to see some really alien-looking aliens.

Looks more like a cross-breed between a J'em-Hadar and a Gorn if you ask me. *is sickened by mental image of this cross-breeding encounter*

I wouldn't say that the Gorn is horrible, or I should say the creature inspired by Gorn.

The majority of Star Trek aliens are humanoid, but putting a raptor like head on a humanoid body is a little silly.
I like the short horns on it's head, just wish that the jaw was a little further out and had compound eyes... that is, if it were a Gorn, which it isn't.
