Google adds Bacon numbers

^Especially considering Harrison Ford was in Raiders of the Lost Ark with Karen Allen who was in Animal House with Kevin Bacon. ;)

^

Whoa...you just blew my mind.

Roman Gabriel has a Bacon Number of 2. So do Noble Johnson and Dweezil Zappa.

William S. Hart is only a 3, as are Rondo Hatton and Dwight Frye.

Mark Twain has no Bacon Number.

Leonard Nimoy - 2 (though it's a cheat because it's based in Star Trek having Greg Grunberg, and Grunberg was barely in it, only his voice, and deleted scenes don't count).

^ But if you base it on TWOK, then the entire TOS cast has a Bacon number of 2, since Bibi Besch starred with Kevin Bacon in Tremors.

Charlize Theron has a Bacon number of 1. They were in "Trapped".

If I get stuck in an elevator with her, I'll be all "OMG! I've never met a One before! It's like being stuck in an elevator with the Archangel Gabriel, with boobs!"

Tim Minchin has a Bacon number of 4:

Tim Minchin and Daniel Amalm appeared in Two Fists, One Heart.
Daniel Amalm and Martin Henderson appeared in Cedar Boys.
Martin Henderson and Rade Serbedzija appeared in Battle in Seattle.
Rade Serbedzija and Kevin Bacon appeared in X-Men: First Class.

Mark Twain has no Bacon Number.
Not quite. If you use The Oracle of Bacon...
...he's got a Bacon number of 4! :D

Anyone know what Google allows to use as links? The Oracle of Bacon uses only feature films as default, but can include documentaries, TV shows, and other things through the options. For example, Harold P. Warren, the writer and one of the stars of "Manos: The Hands of Fate" has no Bacon number by default, but a Bacon number of 4 if you include documentaries.

Huh. How about that? I'd been given to believe that the only existing footage of Sam'l. Clemens was that ~2 minutes shot by Edison at Twain's home. Could that also have been used in The Prince and the Pauper? The short clip and the movie are from the same year, and Twain would die in the year following.

I've not found their criteria or method explicitly stated anywhere, but the Google one seems to be using only dramatic feature films and perhaps TV shows - I don't recall seeing any documentary films named yet.

Oh no.

Even Carrot Top has a Bacon Number of 2.

 :wtf:

He was in Dennis the Menace Strikes Again with Brian Doyle-Murray.

Brian-Doyle Murray was in the cast of JFK alongside Kevin Bacon.

Even the great Charlie Chaplin is just 2 mere degrees removed from Kevin.

The greatest comedian of the Silent Era was in A Countess from Hong Kong with Tippi Hedren...and Tippi was in Jayne Mansfield's Car with Kevin Bacon.

This starting to get amazingly disturbing.

Cary freaking Grant's Bacon Number is 2, too. :wtf:

He was in Charade with Walter Matthau, who was in JFK with Kevin Bacon.

There's a documentary called 'Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon', it's fascinating and highly recommended.

I was thinking about Charlie Chaplin the other day but got sidetracked on the rock stars.

Sort of a "goof" in this feature.

Tippi Hedren is erroneously list as being "in" the craptastic movie "Birdemic." She's actually listed as being on the cast on official promotional material for the movie. (The box, on IMDB, etc.) She's not in the movie, however. Unless you count "The Birds" during one of her scenes being on a TV in a seedy hotel room as being "in a movie." Anyway, this gives the entire "cast" and "crew" of "Birdemic" a "Bacon Number" of 2.
