The F could've been refitted to something more capable for combat. Shaw clearly says that the Titan-A isn't a warship and I don't think a name change will change that. Maybe when the STO Klingon-Borg-Undine war starts, the G just isn't up to the game and they bring in a refitted F for morale reasons.

The Borg being back after Picard S3 is a problem as Frontier Day was supposed to be their final defeat. However, Lower Decks ended with a stable multiverse portal existing. The Borg villains in the game could've come from a parallel reality through that portal--problem solved.

With the Borg, and I say this with the haziest memory of the Borg Arc, I believe the Queen's consciousness was transferred into a heavily armoured Borg Diamond (I forget the technical name for it).

The idea was that the download happened in the VGR finale, but could easily be retconned as happened in the PIC finale. She just flew off into the transwarp conduit and started over somewhere else.

However, as I'm sure we're all very aware, multiverse Borg are two-a-penny right now., so that's also an easy explanation too.

I am. How does that work though? I do play Federation, but which event do I do? Undiscovered? And is it a solo play or do you need to work in a team?

There are 23 days left of this event, but you only need 20 days to claim the free T6 ship, and the easy way to get the full 3 daily points in one go, is to do the TFO Defend Starbase one from the selection in the events menu, and that will net you 3 full daily points in one run, and that is all you need to do, once a day, and it only lasts about 10 mins to complete, and you will be in the game with 4 other players making it even more easy, and that T6 BOP will be yours in 20 days time, and also account wide, meaning it can be reclaimed on any new toons you make.

Well, I've got all my weapon gear up to Mark XII, and it helps a litte, but when missions end up fighting a big bad ship at the end, is it simply not enough. My Tier 4 ship doesn't allow for commander bridge stations meaning the more developed skills of my officers aren't being used.
So, I've got three weeks of holiday coming up, I can try and grind as much as I can, but I think I'll just spend the 30 euro's on Zen and buy a ship from the Zen store. Got my eyes on something that should make things a lot more fun.

What level are you, because when you reach level 61 you will get 1 free T5 token as a reward to claim a free T5 ship from the shipyard.

Plus as you level up so does the games rewards, so what you have to do is go back and redo mission that you already did, but this time the rewards will match your level, so the consoles, weapon and ground gear rewards will also be way better and more powerful.

I can re-do some mission, sure. But even with a T5 and better gear, would a T6 not make more sense?

Holy shit.... I think I may have missed a token! I seem to be able to get a T5 Galaxy Class Refit, Defiant Refit or Intrepid refit.... I'll check later this weekend when I have more time but that could already fix so much!

As for a T6 ship, if you are going to buy one from the zen store then wait for a sale, as there are no ship sales at present, plus don't forget there is still 22 days left to do the present event that will net you that free Klingon T6, which you can reclaim on every toon you have or make, and that free T5 ship should get you through to the end of the event, and you can use it to grab any better gear from missions you already did on the way.

Event ships are always faction unlocked, otherwise half the players wouldn't bother with them.

In your place, I'd go in and see if I can grab a T5 fed ship soon, then continue the event so I can imagine my T5 was destroyed by the BoP I just won/hijacked.

Keep that BoP until a nice big Zen store sale comes along for a "My friends, we've come home" moment on my new T6 Fed ship.

But that's just me.

I thought they deployed an upgrade a few years back, unlocking all faction-locked ships so that anyone could basically buy anything.

You can use any ship on any toon, that is one of the good parts of the game, as they removed that restriction a long time ago, so i have a ton of ships across all factions and my toons from Fed, Kling, Rom and Jemdar use them all so they can get access to the ships consoles and traits...........so when you get that Klingon BOP, you can reclaim in on any fed, Rom or Jem toons you make in the future.

Oh and wait until you start doing the reputaion system, as some of that gear is fantastic for both space and ground.

Looks like old Spock's winter coat from '09, the volcano suit from Into Darkness and the USS Kelvin uniform.

I expect a ground weapon to slip in there somewhere.

the Volcano suit was actually teased 7 years ago at their panel at the Las Vegas con (iirc), but it never made it into the game, until now it seems. I don't believe they ever explained why.

So, after getting a Tier 5 Galaxy Refit, making sure I've got some better MkXII weapons and MkXII consoles to suppurt shields, weapons and hull, things are looking a lot better. I was also unable to stop Breen and Krenim capital ships in two missions ( Earth 2375 and the mission set during the 27th century) that I decided to follow a different storyline where things are progressing with a lot more fun. I'll see how far along this goes before I need a Tier 6 ship.

As for the Events... I live in The Netherlands so most times that I am online and capable to do joined things that land high gear/results most other players aren't online. I might give it a shot later today though.

^^^There will still be a ton of missions that you need to replay to get the upgraded rewards, and some missions you need to play a couple of times to get all the gear to get those 2/3 peice sets rewards which will boost stuff like crits or weapons damage, as there are just so many to replay again, and that is even before you start the rep system...........what weapons type have you gone for?

Yeah, I really like the story stuff so replaying is kinda meh for me but I know I need to do it.
And I've got some time of the next three weeks. So teaming up sounds awesome! Except for now, because I spend about 10 hours on the game today and I need a break.
