Kennedy is an institution. She's been around forever.
Shes supposedly retiring soon. Hopefully they'll get someone better. She championed making Luke's role lesser in the new films and basically to kill off his character. Helped to ruin star wars
Ah, yes, ignore the long, well-thought out post entirely and focus on the low hanging fruit of nothingness. That's always a good course for being taken serious.

Kennedy is just as hated as Lucas was before her and just as hated as the person who will replace her. People will be slightly less harsh on her when the new person starts screwing up but their are a few things she won't ever live down.
With Lucas it will be not letting people see the original versions on Blu Ray and Greedo shooting first. Also Jar Jar.
Kennedy it will be the sequel trilogy and not getting the old gang together for one more adventure together. Also sort of being at head of the brand as it has become less relevant than where it was when Disney first bought it.
Who knows why people will hate the new person. That will be revealed in time.

I still don’t get why they didn’t just go ahead with Rangers of the New Republic, just scratching her character out of the plan and replacing her with a new one. Besides which, Carson Teva deserves a series.

I think it was the time when Disney would throw any idea against the wall to see what stuck aka the Marvel approach to movie/show making that worked out well for them
, Maybe they were worried about the bad Carano publicity to start off a whole new project and didn't want to recast the character as she was popular back in the day ( i liked her character and portrayal too and would have liked to see a Ranger show with her as the or one of the leads). Well that was before she proved she is an idiot of course.Responsibility for the quality of projects is still her domain, she gave the final thumbs up for multi-million dollar projects like Acolyte that turned out to be less than horse crap. When you're at the top you get the good but also take the bad. Now when you have fans rather than customers it tends to skew to the more emotional and irrational side when it comes to critique but she's been in entertainment long enough to be able to take and handle it.
I think the writers deserve some of the blame for that.

It absolutely was. I thought it was an excellent, ambitious series, and the common disparagement of it makes no sense at all to me.
But is she, really? She's has had far more success than failure.
I liked Carano’s character too, but not so much that I couldn’t have seen her easily replaced. But as to Kennedy—thing is, that’s a matter of opinion, and personally I think most of the projects made under her were fine, and The Acolyte in particular was excellent in story, execution and vision; fandom’s dumping on it has made no sense to me.
In retrospect, I’ve liked pretty much all of Disney SW except the 2nd half of The Force Awakens for its “greatest hits” approach, Resistance for being a bit too kiddie, and the weak structure of The Book of Boba Fett — and TFA and Fett both had high points that balanced that out.
Kennedy’s been fine. I guarantee you the hate she’s gotten is the same hate, for the same reasons, that anybody in charge in our era would have gotten.
