Gina Carano Sueing for Wrongful Termination from Disney

It might be shocking to hear a vegan say this, but I don't think I've ever eaten Kale. At least not on purpose, it might be part of one or more of the meals I eat without me knowing it.
Fantastic stuff - I love it, and pretty much all green veg for that matter.

Probably for the best as I'm not overly fond of beans, pulses and such veggie staples.

I have never eaten Kale either. Doesn't look good, but looks can be deceiving as anyone who has ever ate a grapefruit thinking it was an orange can testify.
Kale is delicious, it's the perfect winter food (it's only good if it's harvested after the first frost).

I'll never understand why anyone would want to sue to get their job back in a situation like this, if they hire you back, it's gonna be a horrible experience. The bosses aren't going to be happy they were forced to hire you back, and the people who complained to the bosses to get you fired are gonna be mad they brought you back. So they're all probably gonna treat you like crap, which means you'll be miserable. So basically everybody is involved is going to end up pissed and miserable.

It's also true that when the studios exercised more contractual control over actors, the actors were strongly discouraged from taking public political and social positions on their own.

She is a Republican. She has zero chance of getting her career back. Now she is forced to ride the Right Wing party train to make us much money from her situation as she can. Others have gone down that path. Kevin Sorbo, Scott Baio etc.

I heard she wasn't fired but they didn't sign her to a new contract. Which if true is kind of what happened to Colin Kaepemick in the NFL. If that is true she doesn't have a case. If she was fired then maybe, because she can then point to what I assume must be millions of other Disney employees talking about politics on the internet who didn't get fired. Guess we will see.

I wonder how far along thing were with the Rangers of the New Republic series? That was announced, and it was assumed she was going to be either the star or at least a major character of that series. Would they have signed her on before announcing said series, since that was during the second season of The Mandalorian?

That show is the main reason they should have never fired her. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot because of some pointless internet drama. Doesn't sound like good business thinking to me.
