Ghostbusters

I remember watching The Ghost Busters, with Spencer, Tracy and Kong; and the Ghost Dematerializer was great to a six year old. Although, even then I noticed they always went to the same castle.

It's also the cause of the "Real" in The Real Ghostbusters.

I always found it curious that the show had a guy named Kong who wasn't the gorilla.

It was actually the cartoon that I mentioned ('Filmation's Ghostbusters') that was responsible for the movie-based cartoon being titled 'The Real Ghostbusters' moreso than the live-action series that Vanyel mentioned.

Since we're still on the subject of Filmation's Ghostbusters franchise, though, I've got a confession to make that is either going to make me sound really lame, or really geeky. As a kid, I had a Pound Puppies stuffed animal (my sis and I are very close in age, so we ended up watching a lot of the same cartoons as each other, and, since she was a fan of the Pound Puppies cartoon, I ended up kind of developing an interest in the stuffed animals that went with it) that I always used to pretend was a Ghost Dematerializer.
