Getting "splash-back" while peeing at a urinal

So if you're peeing into a urinal, and getting "splash-back" while doing it, you're obviously doing something wrong. But does it mean you're standing too CLOSE to the urinal or too FAR?

Just going to toss this out there; there are some poorly designed urinals that just cause splashback. I never have any issues. I'm a pro. But for some reason there are these urinals at my job that just ALWAYS splash back. I'm not the only one who notices it so its clearly not my fault

If you get splash-back, you’re standing too close. If pee winds up on the floor, you’re standing too far. Or else you’re really drunk.

I get splash back in the toilet all the time, splashes on the rim and on the floor and my leg. Main reason is because I am very tall, and toilets are low, so naturally I'm so far away it just ends up splashing off the water in the toilet, sad but true, this is a real life fact.

6'2", but I have long legs, anyway, my peepee is very high off the ground, and when I pee, it splashes all over the place, no matter how straight and steady I point it, I've tried aiming for the center, the sides, and I've found the very back part of the bowl right above the water line the best place to hit to reduce splashing, cause if it hits water, splash out it will.

Do you stand right over the toilet, or do you stand back in front of it? Some people straddle the bowl and pee straight down, some stand in front of it and aim forward.. I stand in front and aim toward it, its splash city man, maybe force has a lot to do with it too, but often I see it hit the water and splash out in a shower of pee particles on the floor, or my legs or feet.
