I don't have real Internet access for the moment, so maybe this is old news... but has anyone seen Generation Kill yet?
It's like "Over There"... but with a real budget and probably less lesbian sex.
From the first episode, it feels like a modern day Band of Brothers, but much more grittier and more procedural. At the very least racial tension exists in this military while it was pretty much whitewashed (heh) in Band of Brothers.
And anyway, think of it as a spiritual sequel to The Wire.
