Even if we don't know how to create it fortunately we know the basic principle or warp drive.
Folding space in front and back of the ship, or so I've understood. Space shrinks in front of the ship and enlarges behind the ship, right? Ships gets to different places faster than light but the ship never goes as fast as light. Did I get that right? =)
I think that where Chakotay's statement to early Janeway was concerned, what happened on New Earth stayed on New Earth.I wonder, in Voy's 'Shattered', if Chakotay telling the alternate Janeway that they "never crossed the line" in their relationship was in part to set up his relationship with Seven later on in the season? It's also a nice bit of consistency given that he and Janeway, I think, decided to remain professional despite their obvious tender feelings for each other.

So what if it did cross the line for some time (let's say somewhere in S1-S3) - why would that have hindered a S7 setup for a relationship with Seven? Happens all the time in real life, after all.
Is that from 'Resolutions'? Only seen that episode once, 20 years ago.I think that where Chakotay's statement to early Janeway was concerned, what happened on New Earth stayed on New Earth.
Yup. I think that in the few weeks following the fight with the Vidiians and Chakotay's not really a tribal story... let's just say they did more than hold hands. But once they were rescued, they tacitly agreed that (to quote another Trek character) "it never happened."Is that from 'Resolutions'? Only seen that episode once, 20 years ago
That's the PG rated part of their time on New Earth, anyway. For the rest of it, delete words 10 thru 20 of that sentence."Resolutions" is the episode where Janeway becomes obsessed with the alien monkey that lives near the home she establishes with Chakotay.
It's a headscratcher.Reddit moderators are in their own alternate reality. I've been banned from subreddits entirely because I downvoted what I thought was purely a subject opinion
