She looks like Adrienne Palicki from The Orville. And tall like her too, 5'11. I wonder if her and Anson's Pike will have a similar chemistry.
 
How many people noticed the UFP logo changed between the two halves of season one?

I’m guessing they changed it because it was too similar to the Franz Joseph UFP logo

If you think about it, it's kinda weird to have two human faces on a "federation of many planets" logo, isn't it? If you're going to have faces at all, shouldn't one have a Vulcan haircut?

I agree with you in principle.

Unfortunately, the logo also shows the difference between what the United Federation of Planets is meant to be and how it's actually depicted on screen. So, for the wrong reasons, it's fitting.

Yes, after Karen Dick wasn't happy a logo so closely inspired by her father's (Franz Joseph Schnaubelt owned all his creations from the classic Tech Manual, far different to how tie-ins are done today) was used without permission or financial compensation.
 
The cast seems like a pretty cool group. They passed out doughnuts to people waiting in line outside of Hall H
