Most people I've seen described as Karens are actual assholes, not people trying to be assertive.

I'm not a fan of the meme, but I don't think it's used mostly by misogynists, in my experience at least.
Then again I don't follow people like that on social media, so I wouldn't be exposed to it.

Watching Data's Day, noted that it's the first appearance of both Keiko and Spot. That wouldn't pass muster these days. Can't have characters appearing out of nowhere and pretend they been there all along. ;)

That's honestly why I hated it. That and it painted the Federation as being rather stupid ;)
