A welcome addition to that work. The Alpha Centauri and 61 Cygni ones are particularly well done but all of the colors in them make them very much stand out.

To be fair I was only following the colors already decided in the blueprints but did try to give them more of an effect

That's fair. I just think the effects made the colors really pop and gave them a lot more life

Also, that Pike City PIoneers one is great.

The Kzinti logo is pretty cool (made even cooler with fireproof78's Lego Space comparison!). I'm glad I looked as I don't think I've viewed your Logos #3 gallery before, which means I wouldn't have seen your absolutely beautiful "United Planets of 61 Cygni" emblem!

Is your avatar one of your own designs or is it some rank insignia from TOS ?

I guess you've already found out the answer to this as you've seen the latest post in my Art Challenges thread - What a coincidence, eh?

thought the scratch marks for the cat claws was a nice addition myself

The claw marks were a great addition and gave it a lot of personality.

ETA: Hopefully @gazomg doesn't mind, but I was reviewing some of the older manuals, before TNG (I think) and came across some interesting design work. I tried to review all your work, but if it's a repeat, I apologize:

That is just freakin bizarre, as I have just been working on all the old TOS ship patches, for a wallpaper,

so far I have 20 "emblems" including the huron, excaliber, potemkin etc and others
As well as that klingon banner, its as if you read my mind.

Ok, well that's a little freaky. Here I thought I was adding to the work load.

Its mostly in the presentation I think.
Once i had the logos the same dimensions ( more or less) its just a case of uniform color and style.

I think I like the presentation as well. It makes the Fleet feel a whole lot bigger and more fleshed out. It also shows a lot of the variation, which I really like for the variety of Starfleet vessels.

I also like how patches like the "Aurora" and "Farragut" have some texturing that I think would translate well in to costuming pieces. It also is fun to imagine the different department division logos within each patch, as the command logo reaches further than the rest.

Out of personal curiosity, how did you do the background?

Another good looking set of logos! Out of these, my favourites are the Coalition of Planets and the Presidents Office Paris - I'm not normally a fan of yellow, but I love the sun rays behind the Eiffel Tower.

The Coalition of Planets one is definitely my favorite out of the updates. However, all of them turned looking quite nice

I also agree on the President's office logo. It turned out quite well. Did you use the same effect on the Starfleet Academy one?

I was a bit bored so did a logo version of your design in your avatar, a design I always liked, and thought you might like it
