This game is really fun and all, but posting random pictures that are completely irrelevant to the episode in question isn't really THAT much fun... it turns into a guessing game instead of a game where you need to know the episodes...

See what I did there? Both are from the same ep... but one of those is a good clue to the episode...
Just saying, I'm not trying to nitpick... but taking 20 blind stabs at eps just isn't fun for me... I enjoy games like this, but only when they have a point!!

Oh I know, and I appreciate a good stumper as much as anyone! It just get's a little frustrating when we're guessing random episodes for days :-) We don't need the "Random Episode Generator" to make an appearance :-)

Though I would agree, we're playing with a couple of people who would get every one of these in one, and it wouldn't be any fun for an entirely different reason.
It does train you in detective work, though. Even when they have nothing to do with the episode, there are (most of the time) still clues.. lighting, uniforms, props, hairstyles... that can help narrow down your choices. That's the fun part, the way we've been playing here.

thedude, I can see where you're coming from with this. But this is the fifth or so incarnation of this game. I can assure you, the screencaps in the first few threads were easier. But after a while they got too easy for some of the participants. (I'm looking at you, LeadHead. 
) And I think it was then when we began to use some more generic screencaps. It can still be fun figuring out which episodes they belong to. But I agree, it isn't as much fun when everyone is just guessing. But you would be surprised if you knew how good some people are at this game. Really, one man's random picture is another man's obvious screencap.
