Super hero shows are all over TV now, so anything "super hero-ish" would probably be considered for a show too.

Galaxy Quest-- alien characters, colorful uniforms, based on a movie-- it fits that description.

By any chance, could you be confusing Galaxy Quest with Guardians of the Galaxy?

That's all I've got. If not, I'm not sure where you're getting "super hero-ish".

Yes, it's terrible how parodies destroy the market for the properties they are sending up. I mean, poor James Bond never recovered from all the Austiin Powers films and other sendsups.
