It's amazing. He was every world leaders best friend. Every country tolerated his dictatorship. Somewhere in June he played chess with the President of the world chess federation and everybody was laughing and laughing. And now he's dead and the same guys shaking his hand smiling make statements of how glad they are that his time has come.

It not amazing. Its politics...

I was reading an article titled "Conflicting Accounts on How Khaddafy was Killed."

They should do an article about conflicting spellings of how he spelled his last name.

Is it Qaddafi? Gadhafi?

"It was weird, but at least it wasn't raunchy," Ms Rice said of the episode.

In an interview with Al Jazeera in 2007, Qadhafi put his admiration for Rice in strange terms.

“I support my darling black African woman,” he said. “I admire and am very proud of the way she leans back and gives orders to the Arab leaders … Leezza, Leezza, Leezza. … I love her very much. I admire her and I’m proud of her because she’s a black woman of African origin.”

I can't believe the small-mindedness I hear from people about this and the entire "democratic" revolution in the Middle East. I feel time will demonstrate this to be an important era in history...one analogous to the fall of widespread communism..but what do I hear? "My peanut butter and jelly sandwhich will taste the same tonight." Talk about short-sighted.
