Futurama returning to Comedy Central

Good. More episodes = fewer times a year the episode with Fry's Dog will play and see me in tears watching the end of the episode before the Daily Show comes on.

He just waited and waited and waited :(

I bet they made 4 minutes of new animation per episode, and the rest is redubbed clips from older one.

I never saw or bought the movies. I failed as a fan.

Hannah Barbera picked up the Futurama license?

Let's hope the return to the 30 minute format shakes whatever the hell was going wrong in the direct to DVD movies.

The DVD movies left such a bad taste in my mouth, I am looking forward to the episodes to hopefully reconnect with the characters.

I liked the movies (well, except for #4) and I think the show will do a lot better back in its episodic format. Can't wait! :D

Yeah, that episode really bums me out too. :(

More Futurama? I have mixed feelings about this. I mean...I love the show, but I have a sneaking suspicion that my amorous obsession over Amy Wong, an animated character, may not be exactly...healthy.

So do I. I just hope that a few years off the air doesn't leave the series feeling all Simpsonesquely rusty. Futurama is now ten years old, and it was at this point the Simpsons began slowly going off the rails.

The movies had their moments, but mostly they were a step down from the series.

Unhealthy, perhaps, but certainly not alone.

Actually, it's quite normal.
