Was just watching a bit of Robin Hood Men In Tights recently and noticed that they cut out the Latrine/s house joke almost completely. What was left, made no sense.

I recall Mel Brooks talking about how sometimes the censoring would impact his films. He commented that they would censor the farting scene in "Blazing Saddles" and that it would end up looking like a bunch of cowboys sitting around the campfire, with occasional moos because all they'd censor sometimes was the fart noise.

I remember watching 'Blazing Saddles' on broadcast tv and they do cut out the fart noises during the campfire scene.
It makes no sense when Slim Pickens walks up waving his cowboy hat complaining about the smell.
Although, it is pretty funny to see the cowboys lifting their butt cheeks and hearing a cow Moo offscreen.

I seem to recall that when WB aired BTVS's "Once More, With Feeling" after the initial airing, they'd often cut it down to fit into a conventional timeslot, and one of the things that became awkward was that they edited Xander's admission that he'd been the one who summoned Sweet and asking whether that meant he had to be Sweet's 'bride'. In the original airing Sweet basically does a 'thanks, but no thanks!' and leaves, but in the chopped version the dialogue is trimmed so it almost seems as though simply because it was Xander, Sweet leaves. I remember thinking that it always seemed just a little homophobic that they'd cut that bit, but oh well.
