I have a complicated opinion when it comes to photo reference used in comics. Basing a character's appearance on someone real can work quite well or be incredibly distracting. (And don't get me started on lazy photo-ref use when the artist doesn't pay attention to continuity, and/or uses really common images that just take you mentally back to the source.)
I'm not sure what to think of J.K. Woodward's Jennifer Aniston in full Friends mode seen here in Captain's Log: Jellico. They should have called her Ensign Rachem Greep.
Also, this alien design makes it look like they're giving a "Ooooh!" to the booty. "Hello, HR?"
