Funny but not so popular TNG scenes

I always crack up in Time's Arrow where Data joins the poker game and starts dealing the cards then it cuts to him walking into his hotel room wearing that one guy's vest and the Indian guy's hat. Just the idea that Data was beating them so bad they started betting their clothes is funny, but it's even funnier that it happens off-screen.

This scene also involves a head and a butt. Riker checks out Lore's butt..

All I can hear is "So? My father kept a closet of body parts....who doesnt?"

Worf smashing Geordi's lute in Qpid, handing it back and saying "sorry" a la Animal House.

At the end of Gambit Part II:
Picard: Number One, will you set a course for Starbase 227? I'll join you on the Bridge shortly. Riker: Wait a minute. You've been declared dead. You can't give orders around here.
Data: If we are to adhere to the exact letter of Starfleet regulations, then technically, sir you have been declared a renegade. In fact, I believe you are facing 12 counts of court-martial offenses. You cannot give orders either, sir.
Picard: That's quite right. And as I am supposed to be dead, I'll go and get some sleep. And, Mr. Data, I suggest that you escort Commander Riker to the brig.
Data: Aye, sir. This way, sir.
Riker: Data, he was joking. You know that, right? Data?

Best scene of a really mediocre episode.

Similarly, this scene at the end of 'Shades of Gray' always raises a smile from me. Cheesy as hell but its just about the only good thing in the episode. :D

PULASKI: You'll be pleased to know that we've terminated the infection.
RIKER: Great work, Doctor. Now, if I can get out of here, I'd like to get back
PULASKI: Lie still. I have a few dozen tests to run first.
RIKER: Why? I feel fine.
PULASKI: There may be some residual memory loss. I just want to be sure you still know who you are.
(Data and Picard have entered and are now at his bedside. Riker looks straight at them)
RIKER: Of course I know who I am. I'm Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise.
(cue Original Series comedy sequence music)
PICARD: I'm delighted that you're feeling better, Captain. The Admiral and I were worried about you.
DATA: Captain, I do not believe you have the authority to promote me to the rank of Admiral.

I'm surprised "assimilate this" didn't get more cheers in the movie theaters.

On the other hand when we first sae the Bird Of Prey blow up in TUC, the audience went wild--revenge for losing the Enterprise in ST III.

heh, I don't think i ever watched more than 5 minutes of Shades of Grey

Yeah. there's so many funny moments in TNG that for me, it's impossible for me to pick a single one. Data trying to grow a beard was funny as was his daughter Lal's attempt to kiss Riker in The Offspring.

I bet he has several body parts for replacement just in case he breaks any!

I really enjoy any little talk between Worf and Data , they're unique!

Also a few conversations between the computer and Data:

Data - startling... quite extraordinary in fact.
Computer - direction unclear. please repeat request.
Data - that was not a request I was simply... talking to myself...

and the sillyness around Data and Spot

The episodes tend to be unpopular, but I always crack up at the way Marina Sirtis plays Troi's exasperation when dealing with Lwaxana. I love that scene at the start of "Cost Of Living" where Deanna is attempting to get the story from Lwaxana on her upcoming wedding, and Lwaxana dodges every inquiry.

"My poor, plodding, little Deanna, with her question, questions, questions."
"Mother, I only asked who he is, and where you met him. Those are not unusual questions!

Also, from "Unification II":

Sela: "Excuse me, I'm just finishing up a speech–for you, Mr. Spock. I rather enjoy writing. I don't get to do it very often in this job."
Data: "Perhaps you would be happier in another job."

And all of "Datalore" is a comic masterpiece.
