Funniest Moment, But Wait....

Actually, Nimoy says it the same way the one time he uses the term. Both he and Shatner say "Met-rones" but Vic Perrin pronounces it "Met-ron." Outnumbered. Perrin screwed it up for my money. :)

I doubt the Metrons will take exception to that. They're rather cool in that area.

He was a Metron. He ought to know how it was said. :)

Just one. That was his name. He was very mysterious, and you never knew which side he was on. He dressed in a blue unitard with a hood and rode around in a throne-like floating, teleporting chair.

Ran into an unintentionally funny moment in The Apple. Mallory, after whispering into his communicator starts running like a lunatic, screaming, "it's over there! I never saw anything like it!!!!" Then, because it's a dingus, he steps on an explosive rock and eats it.

Why was he shouting? Why was he running like an idiot? Because we hadda kill our third of four red-shirts.

Yes sometimes their actions don't make any sense.

What character or event that appeared in any episode made you laugh, even though the writer or director was dead serious about their creation?
Finally thought of one! Starbase 11 keeps the crippled Captain Pike alone in a room. The door is an old-fashioned one with a doorknob instead of the sliding doors we typically see on Trek. That seems needlessly cruel. Pike can only leave the room if someone comes to get him. I found that really darkly funny when a friend first pointed that out to me.

There's also a moment from later on in "The Menagerie" when Kirk says "Captain Pike is a complete invalid!" with PIke still sitting right there in the room. Geez, Jim, tact much? :guffaw:

As far as I'm concerned, that's enough. :)

In Friday's Child, I just can't get enough of the Capellans' costumes and the sound effects of them throwing their weapons. They look like they're colorful ninjas wearing feather boas who throw weapons designed to make silly whistling noises.

Teletubbies!!!

the scene in the one with the virus that makes everyone intoxicated when they try to guve leanord nimoy an emotional soliquoy not only because he fails but the others actors reaction to it is kind of dissmissive of the whole thing

You are right on the face of it, it's just that the way he says it makes it sound like this is some common pastime of humanity (or people, anyway), as opposed to more the purview of tragic noble sufferers. And why must we live in our self-made purgatories? What if we want out and decide to self-destroy some? It just sounds so...overblown to me now.

Oh oh oh! More mind-meld hijinks! Spock talking with the sorta Nomad/cartoonish robot-computer voice in the Changeling. It is to cringe (but funny). Those wacky Vulcans! I'm thinking there's some sort of advanced mind-meld class back on Vulcan, now disciples of no fun ever, when mind melding, remember, a dramatic voice covers up a lot of obvious, and repeat, repeat, repeat...now Snoopek what have I told you about using your own voice? How are we supposed to maintain the proper alien respect for Vulcan mystery and awe and solemnity etc and ad nauseam... now I want you all to go home and practice your Another Mind Is Temporarily in Control postures 2 to 7.
what i love is the multiple speeds of the mind melds :how like one moment it takes like five hours : my mind to your mind ... candles.. incense .... meditation and other times its like look at my hand ban! you been melded
