in my war against crap crap won? u fucks havent said a single feasible offensive thing, all i have said is offensive, but more importantly, its all true, if u want me to fuck off, how bout trying to prove to me that star trek isnt just a crock of wasp shit
Honestly, I still think the Star Wars prequels are better than any Trek film made to date. Trek films really suck.TerriO said:

How about proving that Star Wars is worthy of the adoration?
I'm especially curious to see your defense of the prequel trilogy.![]()
Given the choice between being a geek or toilet trained, I'll take being a geek.Squiggyfm said:
I'm curious as to how we're geeks for liking Trek.

Now, see? There's proof that Trek and Wars can play well together.
(Personally, I thought the prequels were abysmal, and would have loved to have seen Padme involved more, especially in that cut scene with her and Mon Mothma, because that would have rocked. But instead of actual story, we get more setup for the toys. But that's JMO, YMMV.)

Lindley, since the Voyager mods are off-line right now, could you please post in the BR a request for an Adminstrator to shoot Ol' Yeller here?

You can love both Star Wars and Star Trek.
Oh, don't even get me started about their "Chosen One" prophecy, about someone who will "Bring balance to the Force" considering they have a Jedi Council with several dozen Jedi and Jedi-in-training, and the Sith who are virtually extinct.Outpost4 said:
It's the difference between the two series, exodus.
Except for TMP, Trek films have always been about nuts and bolts. The Genesis device, saving whales, where did the invisible torpedo come from, things like that. Star Wars films have always been about broad themes. The Force, battle of good and evil, the birth of the Empire. One is dark and small; the other is expansive and glows.
You can love both Star Wars and Star Trek.
I do, I just like Star Wars more.Outpost4 said:

The prequels haven't hurt Star Wars as much as Nemesis hurt Trek.
